Malaysia's Ramunia Fabricators has received a letter of contract extensionfrom Talisman to amend and extend the provision of hook-up and commissioningservices for Block PM-3 in joint Malaysian-Vietnamese waters.

The new contract will extend the original deal by 18 months effective from 18 March 2007 to 17 September 2008, Ramunia said in a statement to the Malaysian stock exchange.

The original contract valued at 65 million ringgit (US$19 million) was for a period of two years with an option to extend the contract for one year from the date of award.

The contract extension is worth an additional 60 million ringgit, Ramunia said.
