Ramunia Wins Rm120m Oil, Gas Project Off Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR: Ramunia Holdings Bhd said its subsidiary Ramunia Fabricators Sdn Bhd has won a RM120mil oil and gas fabrication project offshore Sabah from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.

In a statement, Ramunia said the project would involve engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of Sumandak Selatan compression modules consisting of gas turbine compressors, scrubbers, control panel, air cooled heat exchangers and support structures for the facilities.

It also includes works on the Sumandak Tepi well head platform, consisting of launchers and receivers, multiphase flow meter, well head, control panel, pedestal crane, compact manifold, vent boom and other associated facilities. The contract is expected to take 14 months to complete.

Ramunia said the project was expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial years ending Oct 31 2006 and 2007. –AFX- Asia
