Self-Installing Platform

REMSTAR is an entirely new concept in the provision of low-cost shallow water offshore production platforms.

It has been built and deployed in UK waters for both gas production and defense purposes as well as in Dutch Offshore Sector for a six-well unmanned gas production facility.

The design and construction of these platforms have been registered with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) in addition to meeting the requirements of the Dutch Mining Regulations and Safety Rules and subjected to Lloyds Register IVB Review.

REMSTAR can be used for manned or unmanned facilities, including accommodations or associated facilities.

The topside structure comprises a flat-trussed structure with two large pancake decks facilitating a maintenance-friendly equipment layout. It is supported by four tubular columns extending from one of the foundation options specified.

REMSTAR is flexible and effective over the full range of water depths in which a typical jack-up might operate.
